@miriamschwab The Americans seem are very good at web hosting. I'm testing slicehost.com at the mo. It's a steep learning curve though.

@miriamschwab I gave up finding a local webhost. I stick to US based ones now. 1/10 the price and 10x as reliable as our local kiwi ones.

@miriamschwab Did you upgrade the admin menu plugin after upgrading WordPress? Most of those plugins needed major modifications to work …

@miriamschwab Looks like the SMF feature isn't working 🙂 I suspected as much. These things rarely work.

I'm testing out the SMS feature of Twitter. Can someone send me a twitter so I can see if it's working please 🙂

@jeffr0 yeah, bbPress is easier to theme than most (all?) other forums. I find the feature set too limiting for my tastes though.

@jeffro0 bbPress is poo. Ironically I find SMF much better for WP integration, albeit bbPress is massively easier to theme.

@Miriam – try Opera, it's not as buggy as Windows Safari and doesn't have the memory issues that Firefox does.

Still wondering why on earth I want to use Twitter. My twitters are now posted on my blog.
