@Jghazally Awesome 🙂 Let the Kiwi invasion begin!
Who else is heading to WordCamp Romania?
@pgibbs I think @ronalfy is going to the one in Spain too.
@pgibbs I'm also going to WordCamp Romania this weekend and probably the one in Spain later on too. Plus others that may happen this year.
@pgibbs Some of my colleagues may be joining me too. We haven't worked out who just yet though.
@pgibbsYep, sure will be. Apparently I need to register ASAP though.
Awesome little snippet from @sivel for adding a maintenance page to WordPress … http://sivel.net/2009/06/wordpress-maintenance-mode-without-a-plugin/
lol, I called @ronalfy a retard … http://www.ronalfy.com/im-in-norway/
Oh, and @andrea_r, you are AWESOME! Thanks for your help 🙂
@andrea_r I think I was using the wrong version of Networks+! Thanks 🙂
@andrea_r I tried using your Networks+ plugin, but it spits out an error when I use http://domain.com/subfolder instead of just domain 🙁
Thanks @andrea_r What about a network within a network, but with the second network being a sub-folder?
Any ideas on how to do a multi-site sub-folder setup, with sites as sub-sub-folders? @andrea_r
RT @andrea_r: oh joy! an auto play video on a website .. just what I love

Doing some funky stuff with capabilities and custom post-types in WordPress? Try the Map Cap plugin … http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/map-cap/ by @leonardsego
@Ipstenu @andrea_r @wpmuguru sorry for not replying yesterday. It turns out TweetDeck had died and I didn't notice until now.
Looks like @d0od finally got OMG Chrome! off the ground … http://www.omgchrome.com/. I'm looking forward to my daily fix of Chrome news 🙂
Why shouldn't you network activate plugins unless the plugin says so @andrea_r @wpsmith ?
@bgardner I find I tend to run very slow if I'm left to my own devices, so am trying to find ways to make sure I keep at a decent pace.
@Ipstenu How can a plugin repo. affect the security chapter? Or do I need to read the ebook to find out?
@bgardner I'm currently using the RunKeeper Android app, but would prefer something smaller. I'm just not sure what.
@bgardner Do you have any tips for gizmos, GPS etc. for tracking your running?
Yay. I'm heading to WordCamp Romania 🙂
It was the site with the squeaky lesbian marriage video @Ipstenu
I just spent 30 seconds swearing at my caps lock key, only to realise that comments on @Ipstenu 's blog use text-transform: uppercase.
Thanks for the domain registrar input @denzelchia @angiemeeker @chip_bennett @justaguydesign @konstruktors @ryancduff 🙂
@IanTLS @TheGautamGupta Thanks 🙂
I use GoDaddy. I hate GoDaddy. Any advice on where I should move my domains to?
@scribu I saw "Cristi Burca" and didn't realise that was you 😉
@scribu Are you going? I am very tempted. I'll see what my boss says about it tomorrow.
@scribu Thanks for the link to WordCamp Romania. It doesn't appear to be on WordCamp central!? http://central.wordcamp.org/schedule/
@noeltock Nice admin branding BTW!
@noeltock That has much less features than any sliders I've made before. Looks good in it's current state IMO. (I assume they're drag drop)
@ronalfy and my employer @metronet released a handy plugin for devs to use for adding user avatars to WordPress http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/metronet-profile-picture/
@noeltock What sort of slider UI do have in mind? I built something yesterday which I was quite happy with for my particular implementation.
@zamoose I think I just found my problem … http://pastebin.com/zKgApipB. Oops! I should read error messages more often it seems 😉
@zamoose I have a meeting tomorrow morning about coding standards and figured it would be helpful to demonstrate the usefulness of PHPDocs.
@zamoose I'm trying to use the following command … phpdoc –template responsive -d . -t docs6
@zamoose Yep, installed via PHP just a few mins ago.
@zamoose Version 2. No matter what I do, it just spits out a single XML file along with some CSS and JS files.
@vidluther I mostly like that it works flawlessly and is trivial to setup. It's also very cheap.
@vidluther I haven't tried any other external auto-deploy systems so I can't really compare to others sorry.
@vidluther Beanstalk is awesome. We deploy all our code via Git on Beanstalk these days. Works great.
Has anyone out there tried using PHPDocumentor and managed to get it to output HTML? All I'm getting is a boring XML file 🙁
@vidluther @norcross Beanstalk also handles auto-deployment really well.
@humphreybc Random factoid: Chrome speed test runs 10 – 15% faster in Ubuntu than OSX … http://v8.googlecode.com/svn/data/benchmarks/v6/run.html
@humphreybc I have it plugged into a crappy 1600×900 screen that the Air has zero trouble with 😉
@humphreybc Yep, saw that. Might try that tomorrow. I hadn't noticed any performance problems though.
@humphreybc I'm hoping GIMP 2.8 will mean I don't have to bail into Photoshop as often as I needed to in the past.
@humphreybc I put it on my MacBook Air when it was in beta.
@humphreybc I've never managed to get Ubuntu running on my Acer Chromebook, so glad it worked with my new MacBook Air.
@humphreybc Sounds juicy.
@humphreybc WTF are you doing Rails development for?
@humphreybc As it's turned out, I much prefer Ubuntu to OSX, so I only use OSX when I have to use Photoshop.
@humphreybc You can apparently bypass the bootloader, but I didn't bother as I wasn't sure if I'd stick with Ubuntu permanently.
@humphreybc Bootloader is slightly weird as I need to click on "Windows" to get to Ubuntu!? Then it loads up Grub, then Ubuntu 🙂
@humphreybc I have to hold down ALT every time I boot, which is slightly annoying.
@humphreybc It does boot to OSX by default though. I haven't bothered working out how to change that yet.
@humphreybc In fact, less difficult in some ways since pretty much everything worked straight out of the box.
@humphreybc Copied MBA Ubuntu ISO to disk. Booted from that and followed onscreen instructions. No more difficult than any other box.
@humphreybc It seems to run Ubuntu 12.04 very well. I've found a couple of minor bugs, but it mostly works flawlessly.
@humphreybc You bought a MacBook Air too? Hope you like it. I love mine.
@Ipstenu Thank you 🙂 Plugin approval sure is a damn fast process these days!
