@caffeinatedb If a theme doesn't use part of the admin panel, it makes no sense to have that part of the admin panel still present IMO.
@caffeinatedb I think code to alter the admin area should go where ever is most suitable for the job at hand.
@caffeinatedb Were you referring to @craigbuckler's article (http://bit.ly/bVyxBV)? If so, why not functions.php?
