@obenland Yup, what I actually need though was something to hook into AFTER the file is created. Which I think is wp_create_thumbnail().

I think I found it … wp_create_thumbnail(). It seems tweeting is a good way to set off a lightbulb in my head 🙂

Trying to figure out at which point WordPress creates post thumbnails. Any ideas? I'm attempting to move files to S3 on creation.
