@matthancocknz The current LTS is more than adequate. There's nothing you would desperately want in the new version. It's just shinier.

@kevinjohng I used to love SMF, but it went down a darker path than the original bbPress.

@kevinjohng I did manage to find a converter from SMF 1.0 to phpBB2 so I'm gonna hope that'll work with SMF 1.1 too and give it a bash.

I'm contemplating converting from SMF 1.1.x to the bbPress plugin today. That'll require SMF 1.1 -> SMF 2.0 -> phpBB3 -> bbPress plugin.
