@bgardner 1140px isn't wide enough to be a big problem. It's more that the much larger sizes I could see the images being problematic.

@bgardner My concern would be that when you go too big, you end up needing two sets of images, one for giant screens, one for smaller ones.

@bgardner How far do you intend to stretch your themes out to? I'd be inclined to stop at 1600px max to avoid image size problems.

I must be smart coz I don't need a fancy app. to take crappy photos, I can do that with any camera!

@pearsonified @bgardner I get pissy if site fails at 1000px. Even with two 1920px wide screens I still only have my browser at 1000px wide.

Dang, WordPress has an "upload plugin" feature now. Anyone know when this was added? It appears to be in WordPress v3.3 so not even recent.

@JJJ @nathanrice I suspect the main problem with implementing OOP everywhere is that it's too hard for n00bs to figure out.

@andrea_r You run Ubuntu on the MacBook Air? If OSX doesn't work out, then I'll do that. But OSX seems comparable to Ubuntu so far.

@Ipstenu Oh, interesting. I keep getting lots of them, maybe because my computer is new.

@Ipstenu I kinda forgot about updates. Chromebook updates seamlessly and on Ubuntu they all arrive in one lump, so you barely notice them.
