@andrea_r You run Ubuntu on the MacBook Air? If OSX doesn't work out, then I'll do that. But OSX seems comparable to Ubuntu so far.

@Ipstenu I kinda forgot about updates. Chromebook updates seamlessly and on Ubuntu they all arrive in one lump, so you barely notice them.

Any recommendations on an IRC client for Mac? I previously used X Chat on Ubuntu. I didn't like it very much though.

@jmuenster Yeah, you can't drag and drop stuff directly between windows. You have to go into that big screen (not sure what it's called).

@NinjaLikesCheez If so, that's not what I mean. Ubuntu lets you just drag them whilst using them. No need to go to a separate screen.

@zamoose Ubuntu does it. You can drag and drop stuff between panes and leave half of a window in one pane and the other half in another.

@zamoose Found that. That's not what I meant though. I mean you can't drag them directly, ie: have the same window split between two panes.

Hmmm, Mac OSX doesn't seem to support drag and drop between spaces. This will take some getting used to!

@zamoose I was confused since you seem to need to create the extra "spaces". I think I've got it sorted now.

The instructions keep saying "Visit your Expose and Spaces pane", except I don't think that exists in latest OSX from what I can tell.

@five15design I kinda needed a new one anyway as the button was munted on my old one. Stupid pens cost almost as much as the whole tablet.

@five15design You don't need to know how to install apps on Ubuntu. Find it in software center and click it … KABOOM! Done 🙂

@five15design Software center is used for installing applications. Stupidly easy to use.
