I'm working on a post right now with 16,000 comments in it. I can't get it to load the comments even with it set to only display 20/page 🙁

Have any of you experienced problems associated with excessively large numbers of comments on a single post/page in WordPress?

@TCBarrett That would have been nice, but I need to check stuff is working step by step.

@TCBarrett I also can't get it to transfer via scp, so need to download and reupload which takes a long time.

@TCBarrett It's also a ton of files and various things to change during the switch.
